E Patrol, the national brand for kids who care about the Earth, has been named a national affiliate of America Recycles Day.
Founded in 1994, E Patrol teaches children simple, achievable things they can do within their homes, neighborhoods and schools to improve the environment for everyone.
E Patrol joins such groups as the American Forest & Paper Association, the Glass Packaging Institute, the Aluminum Association, the Automotive Recyclers Association, the Newspaper Association of America and the Association of Local Government Environmental Professionals, among others, in providing ideas and support for the nationwide recycling awareness effort, now in its second year.
Many E Patrol TV partners across the United States will support America Recycles Day by broadcasting selected E Patrol Members Only! 30-second vignettes with America Recycles Day messages. The syndicated E Patrol message series covers such subjects as recycling cans, recycling plastic and choosing products in recycled-content packaging.
Some 5,000 America Recycles Day activities in at least 45 states are
planned for the one-day event scheduled for Sunday, November 15.
